Just wanted to make sure that users on test accounts do not count towards billing thresholds

Just wanted to be sure that I wasn't going to activate the billing mechanism by creating users while running in test mode.

Thanks,
Todd

    Todd,

When in test mode we do not process any real transactions, you can also set the gateway to bogus and there is then no way a transaction would actually process.

    Hi David,

Ah, I don't think I was being clear enough–I'm using cucumber for
integration testing and there are a couple of scenarios that have to go all
the way through to your service. Both create users on the subdomains I set
up for development and testing. These subdomains have bogus gateways and
are running in test mode. What I was asking–but I don't think I was
sufficiently clear about–was: do the chargify users created on these test
subdomains count towards my first 50 users? In other words, if I make 51
users on the dev subdomain, with the bogus gateway, will I have to start
    paying your monthly fee?

Even if the answer is 'no', I will try and keep the numbers down–it's just
that there are a couple of tests that don't want to play ball unless they
    can talk to your service.

    Best,
    Todd

    Todd,

Sorry I did not understand the question, no the number of users in test sites does not count towards our billing.
