iPhone App Errors

2 different errors with your iPhone App.

1 - iPhone 4 Crash error

When I type in my subdomain and hit next the app crashes. When I type my API Key then my subdomain (as an alternate way to try to login) the app crashes.

2 iPhone 3G (iOS 3.13) Login Error

When typing in my subdomain (myaccount.chargify.com) and my API key the app says there is an error, try again.

Can you offer some help as to why the apps aren't working / are crashing?

   Hello,

   I am not sure if the application has been tested on the the iPhone 4, will verify. On the 3G we have seen no problems.

   The 3G issue might be because we are trying the iPhone app in the test mode. Can you verify if the app functions for testing instances of Chargify?

   I don't know if the iPhone4 issue has as much to do with the hardware as it does with iOS4, have you tested on iOS 4 (rather than iPhone 4)

   The issue is with iOS 4, and we are getting it fixed. The app does not care if it is test mode or not.

   David, thank you very much. This customer support beats the pants off of Media Temple... sometimes waiting for days for a simple response. Can't wait to get my app launched and start utilizing Chargify!

    Hey Aubrey,

    One thing I thought of while reading this trascript is:

    Are you entering just the subdomain name or the whole URL?

    Subdomain: lance
    Whole URL: lance.chargify.com

    I think it just wants "lance".

    I've been using the Chargify app on my iPhone 3.x for 6 months and it works okay, except my iPhone reported today that my "provisioning profile" has expired. I don't even know what that is! So I'll re-download the app from Apple.

    Good call, we got it working on an iPhone 3G iOS 3.13.
    It was just "lance" like you said. (maybe in the update... you do the form so its like the image I attached? (I'm a UI Designer btw)

    Still no dice on the iPhone 4 with iOS4 though :(

    Cool that you got it working, and yeah, we should get the developers to change that input field.

    They are working on a version that should work with iOS4, btw. It's already been submitted to Apple.
