merchant accnt // billing options // API -- questions
Hi really like what see so far about Chargify. I wish you guys
all the best (even if i sign up or not to use the services).
At the moment i have an Intuit merchant account. Is it possible to
use them? If not, can you point me to an Authorize.net reseller
that can give me the best merchant and Authorize.net rates?
Another point --- i will have about 10 products that i will "sell"
on my site, and i was curious if i have any options to bill them
monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually?
Also, can i have a customer buying 2 products, and combine the
amounts for the monthly charge?
I will not have time to integrate the API on my site... can you
recommend someone that is as brilliant as you guys?

Thank you for your interest in Chargify, you can use any merchant account that works with Authorize.net (and we will have many more gateways soon). We do have 2 great partners that can get you amazing rates and include the Auth.net account. Please see http://chargify.com/merchant-accounts/
As for your other question, yes you can bill at different periods. At this time we do not have consolidated billing in that way, but you may see it in the future. We have a number of people that have worked with the API, what language are you looking to do the development in?

Hi there,
There is an early Chargify user who is making a complete sample PHP app. Would you like their contact info? I think they are a consultant who could work with you as a client, if that's what you're looking for.
Thanks.

Many of our developers are using Rails and we could recommend a number of people to help you there. If that is of interest please let us know.

Hi Cosmin,
Please let us know if you need anything else. As David noted, we are happy to connect you with Ruby on Rails developers, too, as that probably is indeed the simplist/fastest framework for most web apps today. PHP works great, too, and if that's what you'd prefer than please contact the Seattle gentleman whose info I gave earlier.
I'm going to close this ticket, but just reply or open a new ticket if we can be of further assistance.
Thanks.

Lance / David
thanks for the info. I've contact him, but i got no reply yet. I am getting closer and closer to the lunch date, and i think its time to look at other options too. I am not familiar with Rails, but if you say its the best option to integrate Chargify on my sales site, I'm willing to give it a try. If you can recommend someone to help me out with Rails i would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Cosmin.
