Link to self-service page
How do I link to the self-service page found under
"Subscriptions" page in the admin?
This link apparently doesn't require authentication so I suppose
it's something intended for my customers to update their credit
card details. There's also a receipt link which seem to fill a
similar purpose.
How do I retrieve/build these links through the API?
Just as registration I would like receipts and update forms to be
handled by Chargify. That would save us time.
I noticed a similar question was asked here before. But in
response to that question you responded that "it is not possible to
do self-service via the admin application", a statement I find a
bit confusing considering the links are available in the admin.
Could you please bring some clarity to this?

Carl,
While we do not a support self-service portal at this time I do understand what you are referring to and will have a developer take a look at this.

Hi Carl,
I understand how helpful it would be to provide the registration and card update links directly to your customers. The self-service page is currently revealed to your customers only during dunning. We've been working on our "self-service" strategy, and will probably have something better for you in the near future. At the very least, we will have a way that you can generate these links programmatically based on information you can get via the API.
Thanks,
Michael

This is also important I think from a security perspective, since I'd like to try and get users to change any information via a hosted page. Also, just like when signing up for products - some sort of return URL would be useful.
In general, being able to get these links through a call would be great - whether it be the self-service page (complete redirect or in an iframe) or straight API call.

Thanks for your answers.
Also worth noting is having a self-service page for credit cards would also lower the barrier of entry to Chargify. Which is my main concern right now.

Hi kfrancis and Carl,
FYI, we are working on a Chargify-hosted "end-user portal" that will allow such things. It will be hosted by us, so it will be secure and PCI-compliant. It will be more extensive than our current "hosted pages".
I don't have a firm timeline, but it's a small number of months out, not a large number :-).
Thanks.
